17" black powdercoat wagon wheels too big for a wagon on a new truck?

I wish i could run a 15/16" wheel in some ways on my 05 STX b/c to me nothing says badass like a set of mud tires with black wagon wheels. I like the US Wheel wagons, 84 series i think and they come in the 17x9 and i can get a beadlock ring thing for them. they look tough as heck but is that tooooo big for a wagon wheel? it'll be with 35s so sidewall to make up for the taller tire is so-so
