Heck yeah I want it! I love Queensryche. Mindcrime is, in my opinion, one of the greatest albums of all time. Ranks right up there with Rush 2112. I got to see them last year and I was blown away.
I saw them in person at the Centrum in Worchester Mass years ago. They played the entire Operation Mindcrime album, complete with big screen TV showing all the animation.

Here is the new song - hasn't been released but I thought it would be a treat to those who know the story in "Mindcrime".
Yes, they will tour with Priest and play their old stuff. Then in 2006 they will tour a full set of Operation:Mindcrime I & II. So get ready and plan for it. Don't want to hear anybody crying that they can't make it.
I saw Dream Theater with Queensryche a couple years ago. Blew me away! They both came out and played The Who's, "Won't Get Fooled Again." For the last encore. Was absolutely amazing! I would agree that Mindcrime is one of the greatest rock albums of all time. I'm not much of a Priest fan, so I don't know if I'll check that out. But 2006, Operation Mindcrime I & II. No question I'll be at that one.
I was gonna wait for Howard to go on before I got Sirius. But if they're playin' Queensryche, maybe I'll have to look at getting it now!
Stranger, thanks for the link to the new song! It's sweet.

Lucky Guy, Id love to see Dream Theater man. They never come this way though, unfortunately.
I did see Devin Townsend in the summer a Band called Soulbender opened for em, I think it was the singeer from Queensryche, and maybe a guitar player, or the band with a different singer, not quite sure. They were pretty good.
*gasp* I get off at 2:00, I'll be in the record store at 2:05!!
I went to Queensryche / Judas Priest last fall in San Antonio...spent a little too much time drinking and eating at the Hooters nearby and was 30 minutes late for the 'opening act'.
Turns out that 'Ryche WAS the opener and they only played for 45 minutes! I was walking up to the stadium and heard the ending lines of "Eyes of a Stranger"...and then, "Thank you San Antonio, goodnight!!"
Judas was damn good though...Halford has definitely aged, hardly moved at all the whole show, his voice however, is still hair raising!
