How can 0w-20 oil be the same thing as 5w-20w oil? 0w-20 is a much lighter oil in viscosity than 5w-20. It would be unlawful to package the same product with two different viscosity ratings printed on it. Something ain't right...believe me there is a difference between the two oils....and you living in Florida should not use 0w-20 oil in your vehicle at any time, especially in summer, even 5w-20 is pushing it, the oil is going to break down in that heat. IMHO I would use 5w-30 or even 10w-30 when it gets really hot...just my opinion..

0w20 just has the better cold flow properties, both are almost the same at temp. 0w20 has been phased out and 5w20 has been brought in to the mobil line.

There could be no difference, it's called de-rating and all companies do it.
If an electrical device passed all tests at 100 amps, it can be labeled as 10 amps or 20 amps ... all the way to 100 amps.
As long as the oil passed 0 wt flow numbers, it would probably pass 5 wt flow numbers as well.
You might be suprised.

Non-Synthetic

I just did my first oil change using Exxon Superflo 5w/30 non-synthetic. At 1.49 a quart at Kmart i couldn't resist. I'll just make sure i change every 3,000 miles.

Only Valvoline 5w20 Durablend. I have always used some form of valvoline in all vehicles I have owned, even lawnmowers. Tried and true will never use any other kind of oil. The last vehicle I had that I traded in for my escape was a 1994 dodge dakota. 165,000 miles with conventional valvoline. It never used any oil at all. Always changed every 3000.
