Ranger vs. Custom vs. Explorer
I'm sure someone's already answered this, but I've looked and haven't been able to find it.
I'm looking for a '73-'76 F250 4x4. I've seen Rangers, Custom and Explorers. What are the differences between these?

Rangers and Customs were models. Customs were the base Rangers were nicer
Explorer was a trim level/option package. i.e. i have a 78 Ranger Explorer that came with fancy strips, emblems, more insulation... and such.

i have two Fords, one is a explorer custom, and one is a snow fighter custom, neither one had a chrome package, so my guess is that the customs might have been the stylesides as mine both are.......thats just a guess though.....
