One thing you guys are forgetting is rotating mass. When going to a larger wheel and tire combo you increase the weight being spun. Matter of Physics ;-)
This causes longer stopping distances, and reduced MPG's

The wider the tire the harder it is to stop in the rain/snow. Trust me - my Nitto's are 13" wide and totally S**K in rain/snow. Now when the suns out and they are all shined up they ROCK!

So it really depends on what LOOK you want.

If you put a 4" Suspension lift and have dinky skinny tires you will be greatly disapointed. The look alone will drive you crazy, it may ride nice but it will not look good.

Hey BlkButy, I saw your gallery and noticed the 325/65/R18 tires you have. That total tire diameter is 34.63" (probably less with 9" wide rims). Do you have any problems clearing the front wheel wells while turning? How much more clearance do you have?

I am thinking about 20's with 325/60/R20, total dia. 35.35". Do you think it will fit with the stock suspension/lift? I don't want any lift, and I'm curious if it will work.

Thanks.

Looks do matter concerning my truck, but push come to shove the ultimate goal is how it rides. The difference between the two tire choices will hardly be visibly noticable. So the answer is if I stay with stock wheels I'll go X-Terrain and if I go with the 8" wheels I'll put the Pilots on. This thread did provide good info.
