hey guys i always read your posts on here and i know there are some guys who know alot about computers so i have a question for you.
I am running windows 98 and i was downloading a movie file and i accidentally clicked a box that i think said always ask bfore opening this type of file and now when i try to download a movie file it saves it to a temporary folder and opens the fikle in winamp automatically, this really has me steamed any ideas on how to fix this?
If it's video, it's gonna most likely be a mpeg, avi, asf, or quicktime. Yeah, uncheck those in the asociated files options box in winamp and windows will play it in the default player if it's an extention the default player plays.
Does winamp always save it's files in the temp folder? If so then you may have to change the extension of the files as mentioned above. I don't know.
Just a thought.
