jer1234,
It sounds to me like you haven't taken the center hub nut off?? If you haven't...that will need to come off before you can remove your rotor. If it's anything like my 94 you'll need to remove a small key between the shaft and the nut before the nut can be removed. You can purchase a Chiltons or hayens manual at your local parts store for about $16.00 dollars. It saves a lot of headaches!!
If you do have the rotor turned, make sure you have them both turned. The thickness needs to be the same so you don't have it pulling to one side when you break. My advice would be to replace both fronts. They only cost about $50 to $60 dollars each.

Thanks, I don't want to cause jer1234 anymore more maintenance than needed but I didn't want him to break anything either. I'm glad you said something. On my 94 I have to pull everything off and then i have to swap out the bearing races if the rotor didn't come with them. Maybe I need to get a new FORD.....not!! 200.000 on the 94 and still running strong. She's a keeper:-)
