Talking Power windows in a 56, any tips?

I purchased a new Autoloc power window kit off Ebay awhile back and since I am just about to complete the lower patch panels in my doors thought this would be a good time to look at the installation of the power windows. The PO of the kit lost the instructions so I have called Autoloc and requested a set. Has anyone installed the Autoloc kit or a similar kit and are there any tricks or tips I should be aware of? This kit came with two different types of attachments for the glass (I'm also going to install the one piece glass kit from MidFifty), one where you seat the glass in a channel and the other one has a two clamp attachment. Any ideas on which is best or preferred? All comments appreciated. Thanks. 56FUN

First of all, very nice 56! Do you have a PIC of your motors? If so, throw it in your gallery. Most kits are similar. We might be able to post a PIC of a bracket setup that worked for us if we know what you are dealing with.

Fenders-
Thanks for the comment. I have posted some photos of the Autoloc unit and the two attachment items. I imagine the two clamp style (the one to the left of the motor in the photo) is the one that offers more adustability. I bolted the channel attachment to the rail to get a feel for measurements. I know I will have to cut the vertical rail to length but the type of glass attachment has some bearing on that length. I assume the upper part of the vertical rail just "floats" with the glass? Most of these questions should be answered when I get the instructions, but then again maybe not. Thanks. 56Fun
