i am having a problem taking off the socket i have the 2-3/8 lugnut but it just wont budge please help.

 

The locknut shouldn't be very tight. Did you find and remove the little locking key?

 

Should almost spin off by had. Waterpump pliers to get it started and this should require very little effort. There is a small locking pin in the slot on the hub. (the piece that the hut is thredded on to) You have to fish it out with a small pic or I have found a razor knife to work well at getting it out.
