did you talk to your buddy yet for me .... inquiring minds want to know may have found a deisel motor 85 1 ton motor runs I pull $400 with raditor and clutch flywheel and ALL accesorys who hooo I think I'm in business now

 

Marti Gras was a bust. Worked all day in a booth for a royal PITA, didn't even get a chance to sample the goods until the shift was done. Worked from 8 to 4 and was SO ready to go home and rest after that charade.
Spoke with the guy, and he cut the extended-cab part off from the rest of the body and is having that welded to his crew-cab. Still has the frame, engine, bed, rear end, and tranny, and said he'd let it got for $700; a bit high for a bunch of truck parts, I think, but he said he's already in the works for selling the engine by itself to a guy for $600. But all the rest is still there after that; steering and rear end are intact, as well as bed, but you'd need another cab to put on there. Once he sells off the engine, you'd be left with the frame and rear end and bed intact, and you could probably pick that up for $200 or so. Lemme know what you wanna do, and I'll relay the message.

 

yeah I'll probably pass on that I got to pull the other motor I just bought so it's time to have some fun going to swap my ol 84 from auto to stick when I do this motor change...
