Yeah, I have a 1992 Flareside XLT Xtra Cab. I would like to find some fender trim (chrome) for it as well as some rain gutters for the side windows. I don't know if Ford has factory parts or if it is all aftermarket.

Try a site search on this forum and post in the appearance/dress up board. J.C. Whitney is a supported of this forum, jcwhitney.com, and they have items for your trucks.

Lund makes stuff for our trucks. That's what kind of sunvisor is on my truck.

DDD Sorry about your collateral damage there. Grew up in Richardson before moving to a little west of Sonora. Enjoy the kids and have a great weekend.

I've got a '92 Flareside, original owner, love it. However it is hard to find any accessories without looking through a million sites. Definately check out some of the sponsors. You will definately find that stuff with them. Just remember that the Flareside is the red-headed stepchild of F-150's, I find so many things that are slightly different from other F-150's of the same year, but gotta I have one.

That's easily understandable Flareside '92, my '66 F250 was a flareside on non-directional military tires. Super truck and at the time, almost 36 years ago when I owned it, super looking too.

Check the bed extender for an Explorer Sport Trac. It should be almost the right width. I remember looking at one and thinking that. Didn't measure it though. If not that one, one from (I'm sorry) a Dodge Dakota. I guess that is the item you're looking for, the cage that sits on the tailgate of these trucks?

Hey DDD not a bad idea about our own forum lol... by the way cool idea about the bed extender. let us know if an Explorer Sport Trac one will fit. I'm toying with the idea of getting rid of my cap for a storage box and a fiberglass lid.

Explore st will not fit without some modification. I have also heard about about that Dakota being able to perhaps fit.I guess I can call westin(mfr)with approximate bed dimensions and then see what I come up with

There's a company in Surrey BC that makes (made?) a nice bed liner and tool box kit for the flaresides. Look in my gallery for a pic.
