Hi ' I am having problems starting my truck. Put in new battery ,truck wanted to start then died.turned on headlights,no power,loosened the battery cable,moved it around then had lights. I went to start the truck and once again had no lights. moved cable and had lights. Is there a small wire thats to be hooked up to the battery? 400 engine thank you.

I agree. You keep moving the cable around to make the lights work, so I would replace or clean the cable and make sure it's tight.
Thank you everyone, I found out the new battery had a bad cell. First I replaced the cable ends,charged the battery,went fine for the night,next day dead so parts sorce on the Queensway replaced the battery. Now I have a bunch of wires to conect,no licence plate lights,dash lights,horn,turn signals,E brake cable,front drivers signal replaced bulb,standerd steering need slave cylinder etc.
