Hi ' I am having problems starting my truck. Put in new battery ,truck wanted to start then died.turned on headlights,no power, loosened the battery cable, moved it around then had lights. I went to start the truck and once again had no lights. moved cable and had lights. Is there a small wire thats to be hooked up to the battery? 400 engine thank you.

Sounds more like a bad connection or even corroded cables. Might be time for a major clean up or replace the cables.

I agree. You keep moving the cable around to make the lights work, so I would replace or clean the cable and make sure it's tight.

Now I have a bunch of wires to conect,no licence plate lights, dash lights, horn, turn signals,E brake cable, front drivers signal replaced bulb, standerd steering need slave cylinder etc.
