Question

Okay.......I have a quick question. What you say is a fair price for a very clean and solid running 72' Ranchero with a 302 and a three speed on the tree?
Just curious is all.............have an old buddy with one and might be interested in it.

I just saw one on e-bay the other day. 72, 302, 3 on the tree. White with black stripes. Watch what it sells for to give you an idea, unless this is the one you're asking about!! I'd say the manual tranny cars in 72 and 73 are worth more/more desireable considering their rarity. Maybe not a 3 on the tree, but a column change and a toplaoder wouldn't be a difficult conversion.

Here's the item number for it, going pretty low I'd say....
4522122692
A frame off, fully restored 72 just sold on e-bay for $6900. It had a 351C in it with an auto. Not sure if it was 2V or 4V, but it looked perfect in the shots. I'd say that was an excellent bargain for who ever got that one.

Fastronald, I'm a Ranchero owner also, and live in Worth. The '72 that you are refering to wouldn't be Bob's from OakForest, would it? If it is, I know the car, and it is nice. The last time I seen the car was about 5 yrs. ago. The car, if in the same cond. should bring $8-$10,000. But unfortunately they are slow sellers compared to their conterpart the El Camino.

72' Ranchero

Hi....I've known Bob senior and family for over 35 years now.

Yes it's their green one.

Was just curious................looking for another toy sometime this year.

Say........have you joined the Illinois Chapter?

The February meeting is 1:00 this Sunday at the Pation in Darien.

Chicago area

Shoot me an e-mail through the site and we can talk/meet sometime.

Will you be joining the Illinois Chapter as well?

I have not heard from Dan in some time now. Must be a year or so now that I last heard from him.
