Power Wire Thru Firewall

Does anyone know where the best place is to run the power wire for an amp thru the firewall of a 2001 f-150 4x4 supercab??? Thanks Dustin

I'm sure there's some grommets under there somewhere. My F250 had all kinds of plastic and rubber grommets going through the firewall. Is there any room where some current wiring resides that you could run it with? The passenger side might be a bit easier to see under (that's where I ended up running mine). You might also try pulling up your carpet a bit to see if there's some on the floorboard (under your feet) as well.

there are plenty of used and unused grommets throught the firewall. Most require peeling back the carpet to find, but they are there. It would be best to run the power wire (for an amplifier) through a grommet that is all its own. Running power wires along side each other hieghtens the noise interference factor. But, we have to do what we have to do. If a used grommet is all you have, then go with it.
