Hey military folks-
Who's my hook-up for getting my hands on a 2 1/2 truck? Been wanting one for a while and doin some snoopin on govliquidation.com and saw a couple at each of these two bases.

 

I have a 64 2.5 ton truck is this what your looking for , it has a stake bed on it.

 

I'm looking for a 2 1/2 ton military truck, with the rockwell axles and the gutless Hercules diesel engine. Every AFB I've ever heard about has at least a dozen or so laying around in disrepair or some state of non-usable.

 

momudder, here's a phone number that may help at Whiteman. 660-687-6253. It's for the Civil Engineer (RRRP) Resource Recovery something R Program. They should be able to point you in the right direction. They take care of the recycling on base and if I'm not mistaken, they handle the auctions of equipment. Hope it helps.
