Add on horsepower
Hello everyone,
I was browsing eBay and found this item that 'claims' to add +20 more HP..
It has something to do with modifying the "IAT Sensor". Has anyone ever heard of such a thing???
Also, I still need some help on removing the rear trim panel to replace the subwoofer......please, help...
Thanks,
Metauser

As for the chip, REAL horsepower isn't cheap. Th right way to remove the rear panel is to remove all the christmas tree fasteners then the screws at the base under the carpet. If you need the whole panel off all the way then you'll need what I think is a T45 torx bit to remove the seat belt. But if your just trying to get at the sub then it will pull far enough out of the way to gain access. I've heard it said "pry it off" refering to the sub-panel, this is a mistake. As you will see how it's attached from the back, once you remove the hole panel.

They also sale electric "superchargers" they make them sound great, but when you look at the picture all it is a run of the mill bilge fan found on I/O boats engine compartment. It is just a pvc pipe with a fan in it. You will find many things on e-bay claming cheep horsepower. The only way those things will make you go faster is by making your wallet lighter.
Sorry for the rant, I'm going to get off my soapbox now.
