Cylinder Heads
I was at a bar when my Chevy and Dodge loving fans told me there was a recall or something on the cylinder heads for the 5.4 3v. Something about low compression. Has anyone heard of this craziness?

Think they are confused with some of the engines in past years. Have not heard of any on the 2004 and up. The only reacall according to the recall database is for the gas tank on some 2004 f150's BTW ask them if GM has done any recall to fix the piston slap problems that GM seems to have. I think you will find, GM is ducking out on that one.

Ther not a recall on the 3valve heads but there was a problem on the heads being put on the '05 f150 with 5.4 and Mustang GT 4.6L. seem like it was a problem with the valve seats. Use can check it out at www.blueovalnews.com. They called my wife and told her there would be a delay for a couple or 3 weeks back order on her Mustang GT
