Is there a tech article/spotters guide for axles/differentials?

I am having a dandy of a time trying to learn and keep straight all of the different axle/diffs in the ford family (and usable by the fords). Is there a tech article/spotters guide like the following one for transmissions anywhere?

https://www.ford-trucks.com/article/...ers_Guide.html

I would really like to have a resource that I could run to that has listed a Dana whatchyamacallit and a Sterling whosawasa..... Or was that a Ford 9 inch? 8.8?

Thanks!!!!

Go to the Precision Gear website see pics of most popular Dana, Ford, GM, Chrysler and Toyota axles. Here is for the Ford axles: www.precisiongear.com/fordring.htm. The other brands each have their own page, so you'll have to find them on the website.
