No start for my 85 Bronco II V6 2.9L

Hey guys I turn the key and it does not start all though I do hear that ugly clicking on the starter relay side. Any trouble shooting tips on what could be the problem or how to diagnos the problem.

Thanks
Mario

Could be a bad ground or weak battery. Get a screwdriver and make contact between the starter solenoid(relay) posts. Does it still click? Check the ground on your starter... Lightly tap on your starter with a hammer. It could be 'stuck'.

A weak ground connection it is.

I looked at the extra ground wire on the battery and sure enouh it was loose. Re-connected it and then made a few changes and boom. She was running again. It sat out at the deer lease for 2 years without running. I re-built the engine back in 1995. I'm getting ready to sell her.
