I'll soon be getting my new truck and one of the things that I want to is to try to protect the bottom of the body better from rock chips.

I have used the stainless steel panels before and while they look good and protect the area they cover, they do not cover the bottom portion of the body.

I read about guys using rhino lining/line-x/etc... and using the clear tape/vinyl along the bottom. But what I'm wondering is if anyone has used or have experience with the following product.

They seem like they might do the job but I'm afraid they might cause other problems such as catching your foot on them when getting in and out of the truck.

Anyone with thoughts/comments/etc?????
