I have a 29 Ford PU that needs a motor, I have an 8BA-Ford Flat Head V-8 in the shop that I would like to put in it. How can I adopt it to the Model A Drive Line. Thanks for any input.

flathead adapters

Do you know the year of engine you have. I'll try and track down an adapter if possible. Probably going to have to swap trannys also but not sure.

Hi Bruin 52, thanks for the reply. John Speer a fello rodder was nice enough to give me an adaptor. I think the motor is a 1952. It has gray paint on the pan, I've been told that the gray color was used on trucks. ?????. Iv'e also been told that a 39 or 40 Ford tranny will fit right in the Model A drive line. That would be great. So now I'm looking for one of those. Thanks again Lon.
