ok basic info
i am building a '62 unibody shortbed
staying mostly stock with the exception of shaved door handles, molded *** pan and airbag suspension
so ive been looking online all day and have yet to find a vendor that sells a crossmember for my truck to start the mustangII swap which im quite sure will be necessary in my build? do you know of any vendor that might be of service?
i read a article that said that someone was making massive drop axles for the front, i took some measurements on my truck and i can get it close to where it needs to be if i can get a drop axle that would lower my truck 4 or 5". Do you know who is selling these axles?
does anyone on the board have a 61-66 f100 with a mustang II... where did you get the crossmember?
so on the same topic what all parts are required for the swap? I know about the thread in the 48-60 board but it dosent go over all the parts needed. i can have a cross member built if i can get the right control arms.

I know Fatman sells a kit for these trucks. I have not used any of their products. The controll arms are PROBABLY the same but I think you need rack extenders because the truck is so wide compared to the Mustang II.

Truckfarmer is correct on the Fatman thing. I saw one on eBay a couple of weeks ago for like $3500+. It was complete and just required you to stub off the original rails and weld on the clip. I'm not sure about the column hook up but I would expect you are going to do the IDIDIT thing anyway.

Fatmans stage 1 kit can be had in hub to hub for under $2000 with polished SS control arms. It will have to be fully welded in without cutting off the front frame.
The stage 2 kit is a coil over setup while the stage 3 kit is an airbag setup.
I installed a stage 1 kit in my truck and everything needed was in the kit except the front brake lines.
You can, however, purchase any parts needed seperately
