Cool Oil Pan Crack?

I was changing my oil this evening for the first time since I bought the truck(used) and first off this morning I noticed that oil was on the pavement under the truck, so anyway, while underneath the truck I saw that there is a 1 inch hairline crack by the drain plug, and someone put epoxy or something on it, I suspect the dealer in which I bought it (mazda dealer) so what do I do (no warranty)! If the dealer won't buy it how much of a challenge is it to pull the pan?

You have to pull the engine to remove the oil pan.

I know that's true for the 4.2L, is it true for the modular engines also?
