Does anyone know if a 292, 330, or 360, have the same bolt pattern to attach a standard tranmission. We were going to swap the 292 in place of the 330, but someone donated to us a 360 and some of the rebuild parts. This is a high school project. Any help, ideas, or sites would greatly appreciated.

If you have the bellhousing and clutch stuff a 330, 352, 360, 390 FE engines will interchange. The 292 is different, and uses a different bellhousing. You don't mention truck year.

Thanks for the input. The years in question were 62' and 65 F600's. I will repost on the correct site. Engine swaps. Sorry for the mistake.
