New Mufflers any Suggestions?

Hey fella's I'm looking for some new mufflers because my super turbos just aren't loud enough for my liking. I want a more aggressive sound but a deep rumble. Something affordable too. Glasspacks would be o.k for me cause right now the oval mufflers hang down below my driveshaft. Any ideas would be great. I am planning my header install really soon here this month and I'm pretty sure my exhaust won't be very loud. I want it to growl.

Also one more thing, are special locking header bolts that too important?

If you have problems with your header bolts loosening up on you, then they are nice. I'd try what comes with the headers first and see if you have problems.

I personally don't like glasspacks. I'd use Flowmaster super 40 series.

Ya, id go with the super 40's they have a nice deep low rumble......and theyre the loudest muffler flowmaster has to offer(that i know of)....and they have more performance than the rest also....one drawback is that theyre pretty expensive, but ebay has a few for pretty good prices

Anything other than flowmaster? I personally don't think that they are worth the money. They might be a good muffler but I don't have the money.

well flowmaster is the best, and it is worth the money....but if you want a cheap muffler just go with some glasspacks, and the shorter the glasspack the louder it is

If you want loud and cheap, but better quality than glasspacks... then there ya go.

If you can do ebay, IMCO I believe makes a chambered muffler similar to Flowmaster for pretty cheap.

race bullets are made by who? Dynomax? Are they a glasspack? Is there any sound clips available? I can do ebay and have done before. I will check that deal out.

this is on a 95 gt with stock headers and h pipe, they are 3 inch dynamax bullets, these are the only sound clip i found and it doesn't sound good in a garage, they are not really a glasspack, well sort of but they are a little different

holy crap man. Mustangs are sick. There's a vid on there with a newer body style and it is just retarded how much tq it had. Holy if I could I'd dump the truck and build a car but I just love trucks, and plus they are more practical.

mattewC! It's still there, it's just some people are telling me that purple hornies rust out like mad! And with the weather we have here, I wouldn't want that. I should just get them and call it a day. Are they raspy and sound like a gm 3.1? Cause I hate that backfire noise..
