My machine is probably late 70's early 80 with pull tab trash bin in front. It's a 6 button machine with the woodgrain front vinyl. Works great, I just had to install a small push button to "fool" it into thinking money was deposited. The changer is "blown up" and needs alot of help, so I rigged it so all you do is hit button, then select drink and it drops. Sweet!
Russ, traveling is kinda dependent on money here too!! Have not even fig'rd it out yet, but $2/gal, 10 mpg, 4000+ miles round trip?? OUCH!
I have 5 wks vacation, so time is not a problem.
I went to West Palm beach back in 2001, that is the farthest I've pulled the trailer. Of course I had a NEW '00 PSD crew cab dually then.....travel'n in style! (I added a photo to my gallery showing the truck/trailer ready for that trip)

Maybe we can scrounge up a scholarship for the financially challenged individual with a Rig that we just have to see :-) If we do it here, I guess I won't be spending much for travel anyway :-)
I'm always buying the beer...and the dances, and the drinks for the dancers, waitresses and the manager......
But no more. I've got a New Years resolution.......May the force be with me. Otherwise, the wife will be putting the force upside my head and taking half my chit!
.....a tear fell slowly down my cheek that lowly night that I watched that truck roll down the street with the new owner behind the wheel. I savored the moment as I listened to the straightpipe bark as he rolled through the gears towards the highway........
....ah. uh...umm....sniff....well.....yu'all know the feeling....
Unfortunately I had to let it go to help finance the Mack. Plus it took up too much driveway space at the old homestead. It had to go
I could have kept it if I had already moved
