Hoppy's wiring kit
Has anyone installed a Hoppy's 4 wire flat hitch wiring kit? I'm just wondering if it's really as easy as it sounds on the package. Of course, there's no way to see the actual instructions in the bubble pack. Says no cutting or splicing so I'm assuming there are pin connectors (I would guess T's). Any info would be helpful, I don't really want to go cutting into wires to install the kit. I'll wait to buy until I get some feedback. Thanks in advance.

oh, they are great, just unplug the factory coonector on the harness and the "t" in the kit goes in between the two halves, then one end of the pigtail goes into the center of the "t" and the other end goes to the trailer harness. it's nice not having to cut into the wiring. dont know if it has it or not but the newer rangers ('93 & up, not sure if mazda would be the same) have a seperate turn bulb than the brake and would need a converter to accomodate this, but the kit should have this included. my truck came with a hitch and wire harness (previous owner installed) but on my older truck it was just "plug-and-play"
