Belt Diagram or photos?

Any Chance you guys can take a picture of your belts on your 1966 f100's?
I have what I believe is a 428 but I also have an AC unit in it from a mustang... I took it all apart and unfortunately didn't take great pictures of the darn belts and now I am trying to remember how it all goes...
Thanks!

Not sure if any help, have a useless 65 Ford engine equipment Assembly Manual in that it does not identify the particular engine but it does have a few pic's of belt configurations? Anyhow, may be able to determine by identifying the number of sheaves/grooves on the fan, harmonic balancer, alternator, and power steering, and find same/simular belt confiquration?

Pic's in book possibly passenger vehicles so not sure if there's a difference: both confiqurations have the power steering in the driver's side, and alternator on the passenger?

One configuration w/ the power steering: 2 sheave/groove fan pulley, 3 sheave harmonic pulley, and 2 sheave alt.pulley, and single sheave power steering pulley.

The first 2 belts, closest to engine block, rap around the alt., fan, and harmonic balance pulley. The outer belt goes from the outer groove of the harmonic balance to the power steering pully. Appears the 2 inner belts rap around the same set of pulleys and one could be eliminated which would be an example of the other configuration with power steering where the fan, alternator, and power steering pully are single sheave. Closest to block belt runs from 2nd groove on the harmonic to the fan and alternator pulley. The outer sheave on the harmonic goes to the power steering.

1965/66 F100/250's used a similar 'hang-on' A/C as 1965/66 Mustang's. In fact, the bezel is the same for all.

1965 chrome bezel painted light argent surrounding the 4 round registers. 1966 chrome bezel painted charcoal surrounding the 4 round registers.

No such thing. FE (and etc) engines have a single sheave pulley harmonic balancer. 1963/67 352/390 & 1966/67 428 (exc P/C) Passenger Car same as 1965/67 F100/350 352 (C3AZ-6312-E). 1968/76 is different.

Single, Double and Triple sheave accessory outer pulleys were available, bolted onto the balancer to add P/S, and/or A/C, and/or dual belt alternators.

I'm guessing there are probably many possibilities. You didn't mention if you have power steering which can impact your configuration. In 1966, power steering was not initially offered by Ford, but was added during the model year. Air conditioning was a dealer or aftermarket addition. Dave Engelson has offered one belt routing possibility. Here's another. My '66 with an FE did not have power steering or air. I added both. The A/C kit from Classic Auto Air included brackets for mounting/repositioning everything. The only thing I had to find was a pulley with an additional two sheaves (as noted by ND) to bolt to my harmonic balancer which already had one sheave. As seen from the front, my alternator mounts on the left side of the engine, and its fan belt routes around it, the water pump pulley, and the crank. It is the closest belt to the block. The middle belt runs from the crank to the power steering pump, mounted on the right side. The outer (most forward) belt runs from the crank, around an idler pulley, and on to the A/C compressor, also on the right side. This wasn't quite the way Classic Auto Air designed it, but I modified it. I expect others will have other alternatives. Good luck!

Opp's sorry, seems I did it again, guess I should read the post before responding. Again, Bill to the rescue? Here's couple pic's out of the manual mentioned in prior post. 1 w/ p/s and the other w/out. As SuperSabre mentioned, imagine number of combo's?
