MAF and EGR
i have a 2003 Ford Ranger, with a 3.0 liter v6, and a 5-speed transmission.
on a bunch of other threads, people talk about cleaning the MAF to reduce pinging sound, and to give more power. what is the MAF? where is it located? and what do you use to clean it?
another question is about the EGR valve? also to reduce pinging and give more hp. where is that located and what do i clean that with?
should i replace both of these, or just clean them?
