Angry how do you get that sensor with the rubber mouth back in the tank

Ok..
I dropped the gas tanks. Changed the sending unit. But for the life of me I cannot get that rubber sensor back in the tanks . You know the one that sits behind the sending unit. Any suggestions. I have the jig saw all ready to go for a do it yourself access panel. I getting a little fisty.

Tanks!!! do you have more than one on your Bronco.78 and up only have one, does this "sensor" have wires plugged into it or is it just a vent with a hose attached to it.Spray wd-40 on bushing( or STP) and push it back in, in future- a little more info may help, (year)

I finally got it. Thanks for the tip. I will keep that in mind. I just dropped the "TANK" the "s" was an error. Suprisingly I realized that the sensor and hose just pops right off. That was the easiest part of the whole ordeal.
