can anyone help me get my dash off. i have removed way more screws than necessary im sure. i just need some step by step. i have read some posts in reference to f150. do i need to remove/drop steering column
You must remove the headlight switch to access mounting screws.
I'm not sure if this will be correct, but here goes. First you turn the headlight switch to on, then lightly pry off the headlight switch from the switch shaft. Then you rotate the switch 180 degrees and put it back on. Now turn the headlights off and pull out on the whole plastic module. The rotated switch unlocks catch flanges. Once out, and unhooked from the wiring harness, you can access a bolt, or two that holds the dash on. These are only some of the screws you will need to remove, there are others, but I don't think they are hidden.
