Wheeling for a good cause (plus free BBQ!)

Came accross this on another site a frequent (azbackcountry.com). All the info is strait off thier page, I don't think I'll be able to make it, but if I don't work I will probably be there. Oh, did I mention free BBQ?

So grab a pair of socks or a box of bandaids, and head out to Table Mesa and help these groups out**while having 4x4 fun...not to mention FREE BBQ, sponsored by the students, for those who attend.

Together with a group of Senior Nursing Students at Arizona State University, AZBC 4x4 folks have the opportunity to donate funds and/or supplies to benefit nursing clinics, which ASU College Of Nursing uses to serve the under-insured/and uninsured of the valley.

Although our primary goal is to collect/raise supplies for the nursing clinic at CASS (Central Arizona Shelter Services), there are four other academic nursing centers that you may wish to donate to also. You can see a list of and the services provided by these clinics at,

http://nursing.asu.edu/programs/clinics.htm

As mentioned above, the goal of this first 4x4 run is to collect supplies for the nursing clinic at CASS. Supplies needed include:

Bandaids
CONDOMS
Film canisters
cough drops
antibiotic ointment/cortizone cream
gauze
socks
mole skin/corn pads
rubber gloves
eye drops
hand sanitizer
ace bandages
sunscreen
insect repellent lotion
lip balm

Let's show our support for the community, in this success of the initial fundraising run...A Tax Donation receipt will be available, upon request.

Any questions, please e-mail Shelby Gaston skgaston@yahoo.com

AzBlueWolf - On that run you will be just fine. It does have its "moderate" spots but the only times I used 4wheel was when I was screwing around and in places it made the ride nicer.
