bad oil pump on 91 f150 with 302

I just need to know if I have to raise the motor in order to get the oil pan off?
And how difficult is it to replace the oil pump in this truck? Thanks

You will have to raise the motor to get the pan off. I've never replaced an oil pump, but I'm pretty sure it's easy enough to do. Your Haynes/Chiltons manual will have good directions on how to go about doing it.

You have to raise the engine or lower the truck. The oil pump is pretty easy. Make sure the edges of the pan are straight and clean before you reassembly. You might want to make sure the passages from the heads are open while the pan is off. Good time to clean things up. Good luck with it.
