I want to replace rear view door mirrors on a 1999 F250 Super Duty diesel. Manufacture date of June 1999. I understand there are two different electrical connectors on these. I want to replace the current large extension towing mirrors with the standard size mirror. Any idea which electrical connector is on a 1999 Super duty (flat or round).

 

Manalini, I replaced my standard mirrors with the extended. My '99 Super Duty was built 10/98 and has the round connector. CA

I'm thinking that could be the difference, when purchasing other parts for my 99 Super Duty diesel I was always asked if my truck was a early 99 or late 99. I may have to pull them out before considering replacement.

 

my truck was built on 3/99 its called a late 99 i am told it has the round type connectors.

 

I think the mirror assemblies are all the same from early '99 to '03. I got some mirrors off ebay that said they were for '99-'03, and they hooked right up, no problem. The mountings are the same for all those years as well.
