I like the looks of the black guard but my truck is white and a matchind guard i think would be great looking. Has anyone done this and hoe does it hold up?Or does anyone know where i can purchase a white grille guard? Thanks

Another idea. My neighbor has an F350 sport, all white with the white front grill. I was wondering if someone could just order that grill for a standard F350? I also have an all white truck and would like to upgrade the black grill.

Try this site. You can order grills painted to match.

I have a white 99 and also didn't like the gray colored grille with the chrome around it. I pulled the grill, takes about 2 minutes, and taped off the chrome and logo. Then I cleaned the grill and used scotch-brite on it. I used a product called Bulldog which helps paint adhere to pretty much any material. I spent $16.00 at Carquest for a rattle can of paint which they mixed to my paint code. I also painted the valance below the bumper. It changed the whole appearance of the front of the truck with just a little labor and hardly any money to speak of. I'll try and post pics tomorrowl.

did you ever post pics of your painted grill? I'm curious how this will hold up? Stone chips?

Sorry klemmy. Had a little problem with my dog eating my digital camera. My wife is getting a new one (camera, not dog) for Christmas so I will try and post this weekend. I think it looks good but as for rock chips, time will tell. Have a Merry Christmas.

In regards to the grill guard. Personally I'd have it powdercoated instead of paint.

The truck is white with silver at the bottom. It's the seems to be a typical color scheme for this truck. I have seen a ton of them around town and the web. However now it does look differant from them all. I'll try to get those pic's posted today. The temperature dropped overnight and it's currently -28. The paint on the valance also is only two weeks old and time will tell. I know it will pick up rock chips but whether or not they are enough to really show is another matter.

Thanks Bear Hunter. I could drive the haul road but then again I could just stand in front of my truck and throw handfuls of gravel at it. I am still working on my gallery pics, can't get them loaded properly, so I'll just add them here. If you can read the temp. gauge on the interior pic it is reading -27. BRRRRR!!
