Daytime running lights question
I just bought a 91 Explorer.When I start the motor the high beam light comes on but it goes out after 30 sec-1 min.Last night when I shut the truck off I noticed the headlights stayed on for about 1/2 a second after the key was removed from the ignition.I did a search and I am guessing both have to do with the daytime running lights.Are these signs the module is on its last days or is this normal?Thanks

Do you have a limited Explorer? Both my Mercury Sable and Lincoln Navigator have delayed headlights, which stay on for “safety” after you exit the vehicle. They also have the auto lamps feature, which automatically turns the headlights on when it's dark outside. Check you manual.
