Windsheild Replacement
Went to the yellow pages to find someone to replace my windsheild and found something out......DON'T DO IT.
The idiot told me the one I was getting was as good as or better than oem.....wrong, wrong wrong. It lasted about 3 months then, cracked right down the middle. I called him and they came out and looked at it and he said that it was not under warranty because a small....really small rock hit it. Try about .020 dia small.....yea really.
The OEM ford windsheid lasted all this time with NO cracks whatsoever. I had it replaced because of he sand blasting that we get here in az and it had taken about 8 or 9 quarter sized rocks and never cracked.
I'll just get one from the dealer next time.
Don't try to save money on this.....just pay up and get a oem.

Any time I've ever needed glass replaced, I've just gone to a little glass place by all the junkyards in Phx, on broadway near 35th Ave.. cost me < $100 to get the little corner window and my windshield replaced on my truck.. and since replacing it, it's been hit by all kinds of things, branches and rocks getting kicked up by my buddies when offroading.. still hasn't broken on me yet.
