Hey guys thanks for all the help I have got from this site.

I have a 97 F 150 4X4 offroad Lariat E40D trans....That needs a Radiator. ( and heater core but I just tied to 2 hoses together for now)


I called autozone and checker and got these brands to chose from..

Ready-Rad 259.99
Spectra Premium 287.99 and one @232.99
Transpro 258.99

They all are 317/8 X 17 X 2 2row

Anyone suggest one brand over the other?


One more Question

Same thing on the heater core ( only want to have to do is once ) Whats the best brand ? Do I need to go to the dealer on this one?

a motorcraft radiator is only $269 on directfordparts.com if you can wait a week or so for shipping... autozone will more than likely have to order one in anyway. I've used Spectra in an ex's Grand AM and she hasn't called me up to bitch me out yet (was about 5 years ago) lol.
