Question

Based on that above TSB, the PCM reflash due to hesitation is a warranty item, correct? I told my dealer about my hesitation, and asked about a PCM reflash and he said it would be either $35.00 or $70.00 depending on how long it took. Should I take a copy of this TSB in and ask why I'm getting charged for this?

Yeah, you definitely should not be charged for this. I had my PCM reflashed a few months ago, per my request, and I was not charged for it.

The PCM is covered for 8 years or 80,000 miles as per Federal Emissions. This should also cover PCM reprograming. You should not be charged for the reprogram. If there is a later calibration available for the PCM, it is the same thing as if the PCM is faulty. It should be covered.
