start by pulling the codes to see if that tells you anything.

I would also check the fuel pressure.

Will not start

Had the transmission and engine completely rebuilt. Replaced all sensors (except oil level sensor cannot find one), distributor (rotor, cap, TFI module, spark plugs; ngk copper, coil), cylinder heads, Cleaned intake manifold (upper, lower, throttle body), new fuel injectors, exhaust manifolds pretty much everything i could buy for the engine i replaced. The Problem is i cannot get it to start. I have spark, great compression, Fuel and the distributor is lined up properly. Anyone know a solution? 88 ranger V6 2.9L

If you have fuel and spark it should run. Try spraying some carb cleaner in the intake. If it runs you have a fuel problem. If it doesn't you have an ignition problem.

Sounds like the timing is off to me. Sounds like 180 out. I have also been so damn sure the timing was right and threw tons of money into parts just to find I was wrong again.

Check timing belt, diamond to diamond, triangle to triangle, it can be confusing.

2.9 doesn't use a belt.

monkey picks a nit.

My service manual calls it "timing chain/belt". Nuff said.

Check timing.
