2.9 lifter noise
I have an 88 2.9 litre I was told that the lifters are making noise because the cam bearings are worn down and need to be replaced so the oil pressure can get up to the lifters. I have 218,000 miles on it and I love it! Is this going to be expensive to fix? Should I have the engine rebuilt? Need some input on what to do and price wise what would be the cheapest thanks.....please email me a scott_calder(No Email Addresses In Posts!)
