I watched another person drive my Bronco today while I drove next to it just for the heck of it.
I noticed when my Bronco accelerates, the rear axle (where the yoke and driveshaft meet?) flex or move up and down. It has a 6 inch skyjacker lift, new shocks and leafs.
Is this normal?
Or do I need to get a sway bar or something extra to keep the axle from moving up and down when it accelerates? Thanks for your help.
Ruthless, normal opperation, dont worry about it. You are only seeing the rotational torque winding up the springs. In less than technical terms "the wheelie effect" Every time i watch that happen it makes me want to mount an axle solid to the vehicle and make a jesse james wheelie ambulance.
