Excursion snow plow
OK... First of all whatssup fellas,
Heres what i want to do. I want to put a snow plow on my truck (v10. 4.30, 4x4, Excrsn). I know some of you have done this. What i need to know is what is the best plow and what ajustments do i need to make to the front end? Thanks in advance, anny advice and help is greatly appreciated.
p.s. anybody got any pics of an excursion with a plow?

First snowplows are real tough on the frames. Most companys have special options for trucks that are going to be used for this. Reinforcement.
You going to be doing alot of plowing I think an old beater would be better than possibly messing up such a nice expensive vehicle.
Just for the occasional plow I guess should be fine.
Second, is this really for plowing or just pushing little 'ol ladies outta the passing lane?
Oh sometimes I just crack myself up. Too bad this isn't one of them.

Read your owner's manual... buts seems there must be a difference of some sort and there are extra springs and shocks you have to install to support the extra weight.
Personally, I would not do it, but that's me.

I saw a plow on Two Guys garage that was light weight, they put it on an S10 and it hooked to a front 2" receiver. You put it in place by hand then picked it up and hung it out of the way. I can't see something like this being any problem. You might want to search their site.
