Rear disc swap, Parking brake prob's

Right now i'm in the process of converting my 82 flareside to rear disc brakes using the setup from a 78 lincoln mark V. As of now i have everything figured out and nearly ready to go. My only problem is with the rear calipers and parking brake, now its not what you think. If i use the lincoln rear calipers its going to cost me 70 bucks a caliper, now the parking brake cable i have figured out as the one for the drum brakes will work, but i don't really want to pay 140 bucks for a set of rebuilt calipers, as i have a set of front calipers of my truck from when i swapped the front i-beams to the newer style and they are brand new.

My question here is what could i do for the parking brake if i used the front calipers (they don't have the parking brake parts), would i be able to use a line lock of sorts or something else?

Another idea is to swap in a 8.8 rear and use the rear disc from an Explorer.

Good luck, there are a lot of guys that are looking for a cheep rear disc brake upgrade.

The only ones I've seen mount a rotor to the yoke & use a cable caliper. Pricy, bulky, & heavy.

Yeah i want to stay away from the 8.8, as i like my 9's better, i have the parts and know how to work with them, not to mention i really don't want to have to find one and swap it in as i have all the other parts i need.

One another note, how would tell if the old calipers are any good? The rear end was sitting in the dirt and the calipers got kinda of rusty and thus my reason for wanting to replace them. I have pictures up in my gallery (the bottom one of the three) and maybe someone could let me know if they are any good? They were easy to take off and the parking brake lever wasn't seized and it was still pushing the pad in like it's supposed to, but i'm still questioning weather or not its good enough to use.
