98 Explorer 3rd Brake Light Flashing

About a week ago the 3rd Brake Light on our 98 Explorer begain to flash ever-so-dim after you turn off the key. You can only see it in the dark and it is flashing really fast, but again, very dim. Anyone have any ideas on this one?

If it matters, it is an Eddie B.

If that light has LED's and is diode-controlled, one of the diodes may be bad. Try testing the power/ground wires with a VOM to see what is going on.
