Wondered if anyone can tell me who makes a set of headers to fit the 1964 F100 truck 2 wheel drive to fit the 429/460 swap , along with the proper motor mounts? Will later 2 wheeel drive headers from a car or truck work? Thanks

I'm in the middle of the same swap in a 63... Haven't got to the headers yet, but P.A.W. and Jegs have an engine support that bolts in, along with motormounts, and a transmission mount, and support. I bought mine from PAW. The supports went in very painlessly. The guy on the phone knew what I was doing and ordered the right motor mounts... in fact called me back 3 hours later to tell me he found some cheaper ones ...!!!!! My headers came with the doner motor (never used) and they do not have a brand on them. I plan on tackling them on Turkey Day.

 

The idea of all that engine in a slick sounds pretty cool. Let us know how you guys make out!

 

Headman Headers has a set of headers coming out this week that are suppose to fit the 1960-64 f100's with 460. The part numbers are 89230 and 89236.
