24s with a 305/35/24 fit the wheel well openings perfectly. Its almost like the truck was made for them. If you want the rim to look TOO BIG go with a 26, but you will have to lift the front end or they will scrub. I have a buddy that had 26s on his Scab and he had to lift the front with a autospring kit so he could turn them to full lock. IMO my 24s look a lot better than his 26s did, but then again he had a "cheap" set of 26s and the rims were kind of fugly.
Something else to consider....with 24s you have a few choices in tires. Most are around $2000 a set. With 26s only Kumho makes them in one size and they run between $3500 and $4000. The rims aren't that much different in price...maybe $1k more for 26s at most....its the tires that will kill you. A good quality set of 24s are about $5K and a set of good quality 26s will run close to $8K.

Besides when I get ready to sell the truck I will take them off and sell them on ebay...they will bring $3,500 or so. So I will get most of my money back out of them. I have done it before several times.
Also I re-read what I wrote above and it may have sounded like I mean $5K for the tires, but that was for tires and rims.
