headers for 292/302 swap in 59 F100

Request recommendation for manufactuer/model of stainless headers that will provide daily driver performance and the least trouble to install and hook up in my "rare classic" 59 F100 Panel.
Thanks!

I went with block huggers from Speedway Motors for my 302 in my '59 F-100. But I also have a power steering box that was in the way of my full length headers, so that's why I had to go to the block hugger headers. Then, after taking out the full length and installing the block huggers, the passenger side block hugger would not fit due to the large, stock 302 starter. So, I had to get a smaller starter. Well, smaller in size but larger in price

My full length Doug Thorley headers fit just fine before I added the power steering box.

Hope this helps...

302 headers for 59 f100 - smaller starter?

Thanks for the info. Might you have a manufacturer and part # for the starter?

I might. And I do. And here it is... Napa #44-9420. Upon second glance, it doesn't appear much smaller than the original, but proof is in the pudding, so take the old behemoth in to Napa and have them pull one of their $44-9420's and compare. All I know is that it fits on my 302 with block huggers

Good luck!
