Good Paint shop in Aurora Colorado?

Does anyone know of a good paint shop in Aurora /Denver area? I have a 92 F150 that has the infamous peeling paint on the roof and topside. I am looking for a quality job .

Hey phoneman

Just got my truck back this weekend from a maaco shop over off of arapahoe road and Jordan. I was very pleased with the job they did for me. Dan the shop manager didn't try to sell me more then I could afford and made very good suggestions. I would use them again if I need another vehicle painted.

I did go by Maaco off of Araphapoe Road between Aurora and Parker and got an estimate and they told me that they would paint the truck for 2200 dollars. But they also told me that they wouldnt remove the glass nor the door handles and would mask around everything. And wouldnt remove the bed of the truck for painting. And they also told me that the paint would be guaranteed for 6 months against peeling and 1 or two years against sun damage.

The price was good and the estimate was detailed and quickly done--but I wanted to have a paint job that was guaranteed for a longer period of time and I wanted the glass and chrome and door handles removed before the truck was painted. I thought about removing all of that myself--but decided to get estimates from other shops before making a decision.

I am glad that they did a good job on your truck. Which of your trucks did you get painted? And did they mask around the door handles ,ect when they prepared the truck for painting?

I had my 78 F-150 painted there. However when they painted mine, I had sanded and primered it before I took it in there. It was also pretty much disassembled also because I am (finally!!) in the final stages of restoring it!

For $2200 did that include any body work?

Another place I would recommend I think its called Body Beautiful. It on colfax between Airport blvd and Chambers. My mother wrecked her car several years ago, dang near ripped the whole front end off. Because at the time the car was only 2 years old insurance paid to have it repaired. They took pictures of it, rebuilt the front end from the firewall out and you would never be able to tell it was in a wreck. My younger brother now drives the car and the painting on what they did do is in really good shape still, that was 7-8 years ago!
