Unhappy Carburators on ebay #@#*&%

Hey guys,
Trying to replace the 1bbl on my 65 I6. Seen a couple of carbs on ebay: a Carter YFA rebuilt by Champion Part # 6-862. They states it fits a 75-78. Also, there's one that claims to be from a 66, item #7934312908, but it don't look like one to me. Any advice?????????

Contact the seller directly and ask. They should be honest enough in their answer. Ebay has some good stuff, but make sure to ask and read the fine print. Also, the picture sometimes does not fit the part for sale.

I was looking into an Edelbrock Thunder Series AVS Carb as a replacement to my Performer #1406. Anyway the ad gave misleading info and I contacted the seller directly for clarification. Turns out that I am happy I did...as it was NOT the carb I was after.

Good luck in your search...

Hey Biz thanks for the info. . . . . .

Found another carb on ebay yesterday a 2bbl weber and got it. Watching an auction now for the adapter plate. Hopefully I'll get it too and be able to put the lit' gurl back on the road . . . .
